CONNIE PROGRESSES TO QUARTER FINALS
Another great day for Connie at the
Scottish Championship. After beating fellow Ayrshire player Jane Finnie in the
morning she produced some fantastic golf to beat Stirling University student
Hannah McCook by 5&4 this afternoon. Connie had 2 birdies and an eagle on
the front 9 and only dropped one shot in the 14 holes that she had to play this
afternoon. Tomorrow she tees off at 0830 against Lauren Whyte for a place in
the semi-finals.
Hazel MacGarvie had a great win this morning against
past champion Elaine Moffat, winning by 6&4, but lost to second qualifier
Ailsa Summers by 3&2. A great week for Hazel.
In the second flight,
Clark Rosebowl, Emma Hale is having a great run. After beating Joanne Free by
4&2 this morning she then went on to beat Alison McBride by 3&1 to
progress to the semi-finals. She will play Tara MacTaggart tomorrow morning for
a place in the final.
