Scottish Girls Under 14's



Rachel Foster (Turnberry) finished in 8th place with rounds of 81 and 79 (+12) in the Scottish Girls' Under 14 Open at Crail.  Well done Rachel!   Hannah Darling the 13 year old winner of the Scottish Girls' last month won the Under 14's with a 2 under par total.

Home Internationals


Good luck to team Ayrshire team player Louise Duncan, playing this week in the Scottish Girls Home International team at Little Aston Golf Club along with Hazel MacGarvie from Troon Ladies.
Past Ayrshire champion Connie Jaffrey is also playing in the ladies team.

Ayrshire Girls County Championship and St Nicholas Trophy (Largs GC)

Alison Malcolm (Prestwick St. Cuthbert's) successfully defended the St. Nicholas Trophy today at Largs Golf Club. Alison's nett 75 was 2 strokes clear of runner-up Samantha McKay (Loudoun). A new trophy for the best scratch was being competed for and Rachel Foster is the first winner with an 82. As County Champion Rachel goes forward to Scottish Golf's Champion of Champions later in the year. The trophy wasn't available for the photograph but will be presented at the A.G.M. Well done to all the girls who played today.



Dundonald Pro Am's

County Captain Liz and her team finished 3rd in the Pro-Am at Dundonald winning a bottle of champagne.   Louise Duncan played superb golf alongside her Professional Lydia Ko.   Claire McLaughlin was in Matt Kucher's team at the Men's Open and Claire won a prize for the longest drive in the Ladies Pro-Am.   At Kingsbarns this week, Rachel Foster was one of three young girls playing with Professional Alison Lee and their team finished 4th with each of the girls winning a 52 degree Titliest wedge! ðŸ˜Š    Thanks to Tom Foster for the photographs
