Captains message

Dear Member

May I take this opportunity as your Captain for 2017 to wish you all the very best for the year ahead.

Although last years weather was not the best, it was again kind to Ayrshire ladies on most of our competition days, and I hope this year we find ourselves back to golfing in tee shirts, with less wind and rain.

Hopefully most of you who can, have paid your fees on line, but we still take cheques and of course any new friends you have that would like to join would be very welcome.

The website is ready for your competition entries with our first exciting competition being the Championship at Glasgow Gailes on Monday 10th – Wednesday12th April.

The West of Scotland Championship this year is on home turf, being held at Kilmarnock Barassie on Sunday 7th May.  Maximum handicap is 15, watch out for information on the website on how to enter.

The Jamboree this year is at Hamilton Golf Club 12-14 June where we hope to see plenty of green support. Eleanor will be delighted to take your name anytime for caddying, but support of any kind would be Very Very much appreciated.

The Kennedy Salver will be held this year at Clober Golf club on the 19th June, so please come and support the future of Ayrshire.

Please contact me at any time, especially with good golfing news.

The ALCGA website will help to keep you informed of all our competitions and news.

I wish you the very best for the year ahead whether it's Club, County, West or National level.
