Hole in one

Less than 24 hours after finishing runner up in our championship Susan Dumigan was out playing in the regular Thursday competition at St Nicholas and had a hole in one at the 12th hole!

This is Susan's second hole in one having holed out at the 10th a number of years ago.

Well done Susan!

Champion Roz

There was a great display of golf from both players this afternoon in very tricky conditions.

Susan took an early lead but the match was squared at the 5th. Roz took a 2 hole lead into the back 9 which she extended to 3 after the 12th. Susan did get one back but Roz held on to win her first County Championship at the 16th hole.

Great to see so many members, past and present, out supporting the girls.

All St Nicholas final

Susan Dumigan continued her good form by beating Jennifer Bell at the 17th hole to book her place in the Championship final.

Another tight game in the bottom half which went all the way to the 18th hole where last year's runner up Roz Purdom won through to her second final.

Semi finals

The semi finals are under way on another sunny day in Prestwick!

With no past winners left in the field we look forward to welcoming a new Ayrshire champion this evening.
