British Girls' Open Championship

Louise Duncan got off to a great start with two rounds of 77 and 75 to qualify for the match play stages of the above Championship at Ardglass in Ireland.   Out of only 4 Scots entered, Louise and Hannah Darling, the girl who defeated Louise in the final of the Scottish Girls' Championship earlier in the year, made the cut of the top 64 from an entry of 140.   The standard is exceptionally high in this field that includes a vast number of players from overseas. Louise beat her first round German opponent, Nina Lang 2&1 to progress to the second round where she came up against England's Sophie Johnson unfortunately losing by 2holes. Very w ell done Louise  😊
