New County Champion Rachael McQueen

Rachael McQueen County Champion 2011

After a close fought final between the defending champion Lesley Hendry and Rachael McQueen, it all came down to putting at the 18th green, with Rachael winning by the narrowest of margins.
In her winners speech Rachael thanked her family for their support and in particular her grandfather, who was responsible for her taking up the game and was unfortunately too ill to see her win the championship for the first time.
